I started doing a twitter thread as I did it as a way to track my progress/vent about how messed up it is.
Here's the pattern and my finished project:
My first line is totally messed up and horrendous. I obviously realized that the font the pattern wants is far about my skill level so. I really like the font style I ended up creating. Hopefully I improve my skill so I can do the more complicated patterns.
All in all, it was a fun craft to do, even when I got frustrated messing up a stitch. I used to do a lot of crafts as a kid, usually because that's what kids do. I can't draw for shit, so doing something artistic in any way that I enjoy is always a nice discovery for me.
I already have a second kit to start stitching, and hopefully the end result is much better.
